Our high-energy, 6-Week Live Online Improv Level 1 Elective is specifically built for upper elementary students. We focus entirely on quick thinking, building big characters, and creative teamwork in a supportive online space. No pressure, no stressful shows—just tons of laughs!
- Course Length: 6 Weeks (1 Hour Per Week)
- Format: Live, fully virtual interactive video sessions
- Tuition: $150 flat program fee (Direct-pay via the Step Up portal)

- Log into your Step Up EMA Parent Portal.
- Go to the marketplace and search for Level Up Improv.
- Select the "Drama Lessons" category.
- Choose our 6-Week Program package ($150) and submit your request!
Note: Class sizes are strictly limited to keep our screen grids small and highly interactive. Students who complete Level 1 will have the opportunity to advance seamlessly to our Improv Level 2 unit!

About Christopher
10 Years of Improv Experience
Improv Comedy Instructor Christopher Schiavo has over ten years experience studying and performing improv comedy in Los Angeles, including at The Groundlings Comedy Theatre, training ground to such comic performers as Will Ferrell, Phil Hartman, and Melissa McCarthy. Chris performed in a long-form improv group in Los Angeles alongside Eric Stonestreet, star of TV’s “Modern Family”. Chris has also performed and coached comedy groups at Improv Olympic West in Hollywood.
Here in Jacksonville, Chris has taught improv comedy all over the area including The University of North Florida, First Coast Technical College, The Bolles School, The Episcopal School of Jacksonville, and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts.
